Fresher’s ( ‘Welcome’ ) Party over… hopefully no sneaking around one’s own class from Monday… Hopefully.

The Fresher’s Welcome Party is over. Finally. Although we were supposed to check in at 8 am today in the college but a good samaritan (and a friend) from 4th year advised us not to do so and reach college at 10 am instead..
But even that wasn’t good enough.. since we were butchered for about half an hour by our seniors before they finally let us go when the teachers came in to check on us…

The guy who told us to show up late at college told us so at about 7.10 am ,but by then we were already standing at the bus stop.. Too late to turn back.. or so we thought before we headed to Akbar’s tomb at Sikandra to spend two hours there.. I had a faint sense of ‘deja-vu’ as I entered the main monument at Sikandra.. I had been to Sikandra many, many years ago..8 years, I think…But, it was beautiful..and calm..and luckily the weather was great too.. Here are some snaps:

The time (7.30 am) meant that the whole place was deserted..

Just another day at the office..

Just another day at the office..

We didn’t sit through the entire function… what we did, instead, was sit through half of the time, grabbed something to eat and made a silent exit… I couldn’t snap the photos of all the happenings on the stage since I was seated faraway from it and I decided that no snaps were better than blurry snaps…

Here’s a photo snapped before we made our getaway..

Now that the Freshers’ party is over, we can, finally, slip to canteen without worrying that someone will wish us ‘Good Afternoon Sir’ with his head way down and that we’ll recieve a trashing if word gets out…

I don’t have much time to blog these days…but here are some photos, nonetheless… Life these days.. Thats what the post title says..

The Parents Won the Match. Again.

These are the photographs which were snapped by me today in St Pauls..

St Pauls hosts a football match annually where parents of some students are pitted against the current school football team..

The officiators today were Navdeep Singh, Apurv Gupta and Rohit Singh..

Before the Match..

Before the Match..Thats the new building in the background..Although its still under construction, I heard that some portions of it are being used to teach students..But I couldn't verify this..Its hard to believe this considering the no. of construction workers on the site..

The match started a few minutes before ten.. And yeah..in case you missed it (or the heading), the parents won again..♣

You can check out some more photos that I snapped today on my Flickr photostream ..

A great trip to Vrindavan…

Vrindavan..

Vrindavan..

Probably, the last trip together..But lets hope not so..

Well..this was an ‘interesting’ trip.. Me, Shashank, Rohit, and Shashank Singh  left for Vrindavan from Agra at around 4 pm.. and we returned to Agra by 9 pm..

Snapping photographs inside temples is not allowed and it is only proper that we respect that..
Security was tight everywhere we looked, most probably due to the recent state of affairs in this country..

And of course, then there was good old McDonald’s for a quick, economical snack..

But we’ve got lots of pics otherwise, that we took in auto rickshaws, and on the roads etc. etc. Check them out…

A photo from The Beginning of Class XII

This photograph, like countless others, was taken by me by my cell phone camera, before school in great weather.. This photo appears to be ordinary but is, in fact, quite significant.. a remnant of our (your) school days..

Just some pics from one of those infinite trips to Sadar…

Whenever we go to Sadar (or any other place, by the way), we almost certainly take our cameras with us..
But the problem with taking photographs there is that all of them look almost alike..

But I’m publishing some pics from our latest trip anyways.. Check em’ out..

These were snapped yesterday, when Verma took us all on a little shopping trip..

I guess that there is no use lying as to where this photograph was snapped… I could’ve said Shah Jahan Gardens or something but with the Taj Mahal in the background, its better to speak the truth… These are photographs snapped at the Taj Nature Walk… This place is totally worth the entrance ticket price and totally rocks!… Just make sure that you go there when its about twenty degrees outside…
