A great trip to Vrindavan…

Vrindavan..

Vrindavan..

Probably, the last trip together..But lets hope not so..

Well..this was an ‘interesting’ trip.. Me, Shashank, Rohit, and Shashank Singh  left for Vrindavan from Agra at around 4 pm.. and we returned to Agra by 9 pm..

Snapping photographs inside temples is not allowed and it is only proper that we respect that..
Security was tight everywhere we looked, most probably due to the recent state of affairs in this country..

And of course, then there was good old McDonald’s for a quick, economical snack..

But we’ve got lots of pics otherwise, that we took in auto rickshaws, and on the roads etc. etc. Check them out…

Great weather... great place...

Just some pics from one of those infinite trips to Sadar…

Flying high...

Whenever we go to Sadar (or any other place, by the way), we almost certainly take our cameras with us..
But the problem with taking photographs there is that all of them look almost alike..

But I’m publishing some pics from our latest trip anyways.. Check em’ out..

These were snapped yesterday, when Verma took us all on a little shopping trip..

I guess that there is no use lying as to where this photograph was snapped… I could’ve said Shah Jahan Gardens or something but with the Taj Mahal in the background, its better to speak the truth… These are photographs snapped at the Taj Nature Walk… This place is totally worth the entrance ticket price and totally rocks!… Just make sure that you go there when its about twenty degrees outside…

VERMA apologises!…”..clarifies the various doubts in ppl’ minds”…Well done, sir.

Shashank Verma, in quite a post has apologized if he’s hurt anyone.. He correctly notes that the blogs (his and this one) are both on for a short period of time (probably until college starts) and it would be better if everyone did’nt turn them into ” a battlefield”..

I agree with him completely. These blogs are meant for fun, and fun alone.. We never started them to turn them into some kind of a medium to take on other people..

Verma also remarks on the ‘comment-war’ that raged on yesterday..Whoa.. Things did get a little out of hand as people did’nt understand jokes and turned unneccesarily melodramatic..

Its fun for us. And should be fun for you.

Verma does it again.. ‘Jaunts’ to Disneyland this time..

It looks like that Shashank Verma has a unique gift of twisting the real story. He writes the truth, no doubt about that.. but he makes his story so twisted, so ‘in your face’, that it becomes difficult to tell whether he’s telling the right thing or wrong.. In his latest, controversial, disturbing post on his controversial blog, Verma takes us all on to a trip to Disneyland (Apparently, Verma was so thrilled by Adventure Island that he started calling it ‘Disneyland’..Either that or his brain is not in the right place). As expected, this post of his is bound to disturb many people, but that does not mean that it is not enjoyable.. Verma’s writing is enjoyable ( “.. the darklord was not letting in the rays to reach the earth ..” ) and he pays special attention to detail ( ” .. Some students had tea.. some went for sight seeing.. whereas some got drunk.. ” ) but I have my reservations on some of the lines written in that post.. In fact, I can, and will go to as far as saying that some of the lines are totally crap, rubbish, a bunch of lies ( lies, by the way, which can increase the readership of a blog ) .. C’mon Verma, noone’s asking you to stop writing such articles.. And no one’s asking you to stop writing in this sensationalist tone of yours but at least don’t make things on your own!

Click here to see that post ( ” Jaunt to Disneyland 😀 ” )

And here is a pic to remind you all of that glorious day :

Lets dance, dance, dance!

Lets dance, dance, dance!

We’re little kids again…

In this photo, you can see Shashank Verma and Rohit Singh reliving their long gone childhood..
You should have seen them when this photograph was snapped..
They were enjoying it so much that they had to be beaten off with a stick to make them go away from the swings.. I guess some dogs never do grow up.. Well, as the saying goes : “Every dog has its day” .. This day was theirs..

Here are some more pics from the same day:

I don\'t know this person.

I don't know this person.

What is this?
What is this? Jurassic freakin’ Park?

Verma goes nuts.. Tries his hand at writing ‘jittery’, ‘Teutonic’ love story.. quotes Martin Luther King, Shakespeare and Husse…

Shashank Verma, like everyone else, is a free man these days. And like every other guy of his age these days, he’s got nothing better to do. So, he thought, why not write a love story? Yeah! That would be fun! In fact, it is fun.. And why should it not be fun? After all, the guy in question is none other than Rohit Singh and his love interest from Deutschland. Verma, in a writing style not his own, has attempted to narrate all the events in a fun, interesting manner. So… what is it? Is it sensationalism (it wouldn’t have been sensationalism had he not mentioned names), an attempt to shoot up the readership of his blog or a light hearted view on all those long-gone-but-fondly-remembered events? You decide. Click here to view that article (“Love in Germany”). And, finally, here is a German proverb :

Anfangen ist leicht, beharren eine Kunst.
