I know that the raindrops are not visible in these photographs.. Blame it on physics and Nokia..

….and the day after..

Interesting vids shot and edited by Students..

The first one’s called ‘Art of Survival’ and has been created by students of B.H.U.

The second video’s been uploaded by (believe it or not) students of Hindustan College of Science and Technology..

The third one is a relatively popular video and many of you might have seen it before.. Its incredibly funny, though.. It has been shot by IIT Delhi students..

Another video from the guys at B.H.U.. A parody on Star News’ ‘Sansani’ ..

Here’s yet another video from the students of B.H.U.. Its called ‘First Love @ IT BHU’..

And, finally, here’s a video created by the students at Amity..check it out..

And yeah..there’s one more thing.. here’s the link to another video shot by some college students.. I think it was Galgotia’s… Its your decision to view it or not…

You might want to check this out..

Apparently Mayank Austen Soofi’s trying to ‘understand the world through his blogs’..  One look at his blog, ‘The Delhi Walla’ and you’ll know that he has probably understood the soul of the city, if not the whole world.. Click here to visit an article on his blog..

You should take some time out and read the other articles too.. Plus, some of the photographs are amazing..

How did we really spend the holidays?

I still remember the date.. It was April 29 (or was it April 27?).. Yeah.. That is when we finished off the last of the much dreaded ‘competitive exams’ , the A.I.E.E.E. exam.. But, lets not go into that..

It was time for partying and partying we did.. We went to the Taj two times, the Taj Nature Walk three times, and Sadar every two days.. I calculated that, on an average, I was out of my home for about 7 hours daily.. But, that is not a big deal.. After all, it was our right to spend every waking moment on blackjack and softdrinks..

There were quite a few farewells, and some birthdays in between..

Then, there was the usual scooter-trash roaming around, lots and lots of photographs..
Some tension regarding the admission to colleges/coaching classes.. Stuff like that..

And yeah, we did go to some trashy movies now and then..

But, my question is, what is it that we really did?

Okay, we did all of the things written above and some of us started blogging but where’s the crazy stuff in there? What is it that was unusual?

I don’t know the answer.. I wrote this post for the sake of writing a post..

But, you know, one of the many wild, wild ideas in my brain as to how we could’ve spent these holidays is, we could’ve shot some videos.. like the ones they have on College Humor (Click here to view them..).. These are fun videos.. We could’ve shot them effortlessly.. Like I told you, these are wild, wild ideas..

Then, there’s this site called Revision3, another great site for some neat entertainment..

Not many people know this, but College Humor was started by two high school pals, studying in different colleges, to stay in touch with each other and exchange some real great stuff..

Like I told you, these are wild, wild ideas..In fact, I’ve got some more of them which I’ll post soon..

College’s gonna start real soon..  :p .. I don’t know if I’m happy about that or really depressed about that.. I haven’t figured that out but now that they’re over, I can’t wait for the next holiday season..

He’s right behind me..isn’t he?

Vodpod videos no longer available.
College Humor’s an awesome site.. My favourites are Amir, Dan, and Sarah.. We’ve got all three of them and more here (a rare appearance of the camera guy) in this great video..

This video is best enjoyed when viewed without pauses.. but the video will load in pieces..So it would be better if you clicked on the pause button as soon as the video started playing.. Let the entire video load and then play it so you can enjoy it without interruptions…

I could’ve posted some more photos here but they were taking a lot of time to get uploaded on this blog..

Therefore, if you want to see some more photos of this party, you can see them on my Flickr photostream: Click here to access it.. Maybe I’ll post some real interesting videos here soon…

A great trip to Vrindavan…

Vrindavan..

Vrindavan..

Probably, the last trip together..But lets hope not so..

Well..this was an ‘interesting’ trip.. Me, Shashank, Rohit, and Shashank Singh  left for Vrindavan from Agra at around 4 pm.. and we returned to Agra by 9 pm..

Snapping photographs inside temples is not allowed and it is only proper that we respect that..
Security was tight everywhere we looked, most probably due to the recent state of affairs in this country..

And of course, then there was good old McDonald’s for a quick, economical snack..

But we’ve got lots of pics otherwise, that we took in auto rickshaws, and on the roads etc. etc. Check them out…

I’m gonna go light on blogging from now on..

Until now, I’ve always been very particular about updating this blog everyday.. I post something every other day.. But,  I think that I’m gonna take a break.. Maybe I’ll post every 3 days or maybe I’ll post 3 posts everyday.. I don’t know.. Lets see.. I don’t care about the stats (the no of visitors to this blog crossed 2,100 some time ago..).. This was more of a very public experiment for a private few and not a private blog for the public to see…

Verma became inactive on his blog a few days ago and I think that thats the way to go..
Because, once college starts, I’m gonna have to cut down on blogging anyways..

But, in no condition whatsoever am I shutting down this blog.. This blog, whether it attracts readers or not, is gonna stay on the World Wide Web indefinitely.. There were many defining moments in the short history of this blog uptil now.. We breached the top search results list on Google for a number of search terms.. (This blog came no # 1 for ‘Keeping Track Always’ on Google).. I started Twittering and Friendfeeding, both of them great services (but quite unknown amongst the readers of this blog)..

This blog’s ranked no # 2,639,653 in the world.. this may not seem to be an impressive number to you but it is an impressive number considering the fact that this is a relatively new blog..

I’ve got my camera with me, and my pals have got their cameras with them.. And for as long as we’re snapping photographs and have some story to go with the photos, this blog’s gonna stay online..

(All said and done, I was inspired by two people to start blogging.. one, Verma and two, Mike Arrington)
